Romain Le Cour Grandmaison

Romain Le Cour Grandmaison is a PhD Candidate at the Sorbonne University (Paris-1), a Visiting Researcher at the Institute of Latin American Studies at Columbia University (ILAS), a Labex Tepsis Research Associate, a Research Fellow at the ERC Civil Wars, and a member of the Standing Group on Organized Crime (ECPR SGOC). He holds a Masters Degree in International Affairs – International Security from Sciences Po Paris. Romain Le Cour Grandmaison has been a consultant for several United Nations agencies, or Think Tanks such as México Evalua. During the past years, Romain has conducted fieldwork in Mexico, especially in the Western region of Michoacán, covering the issues of drug cartels and Autodefensas movements.
